COME INDOSSARE UN BUSTIER

Un accessorio strano ed eccentrico a volte è quello che ci vuole per aiutarci a sperimentare e a non rifugiarci nella monotonia. In questo caso il protagonista è il bustier, una volta veniva indossato sotto ai vestiti, ora sopra! A dire il vero quello nelle foto è un’altra versione: non si tratta del bustino completo, ma di una cintura composta dai  nastri che servivano per stringerlo. E’ un pezzo molto impegnativo e non facile da abbinare, in questo outfit mi sono divertita ad inserirlo in un contesto casual chic e ho provato ad integrare completamente il bustier nel look, riportandolo a questo stile e mettendo in secondo piano la sua natura sexy-rock.

E’ ancora più difficile indossarlo se pensate che non è molto diffuso al momento, andava di moda nel lontano autunno inverno 2016-17, lo abbiamo visto su moltissime passerelle, basti pensare alla sfilata di Prada! Questo non vuol dire però che non possiamo riprenderlo perché com’era una tendenza interessante due anni fa, può essere un arricchimento particolare al nostro look anche oggi. Non che nelle sfilate dell’autunno inverno 2018-19 non si sia visto. Sulle ultime passerelle il bustier cambia volto: non è più un tripudio di lacci, ma è un bustino vero e proprio, ovviamente indossato sopra t-shirt o camicie.

Consigli pratici: come indossare un bustier

1. Per sdrammatizzare, indossatelo sopra t-shirt o camicie, come ci insegnano le passerelle.
2. Coprite la parte superiore del look con una giacca indossata o appoggiata sulle spalle, io vi consiglio il classico blazer.
3. Visto che il bustier è molto particolare di suo, rimanete sul basico con i colori, indossando nuance neutre e un solo capo o un accessorio di un colore accesso a contrasto.
4. Inserite un paio di scarpe con il tacco nel vostro outfit, sono utilissime per dare un tocco chic e alleggerire il look complessivo.
5. Questi sono solo suggerimenti, non regole. Quindi divertitevi e sperimentate!!

 

Sometimes a strange and eccentric accessory is what you need. It helps you to experiment and it doesn’t let you take refuge in monotony. In this case the corset is the protagonist, once you should wear it under your clothes, now over them! In these pictures you can see a different version, it isn’t a proper corset, but it’s a belt made up of the strips that helped to strengthen it. It’s a demanding piece and it’s not so easy to combine, in this outfit I tried to insert it in a casual chic context and to integrate the corset in the look, taking it back to this style and paying less attention to its sexy-rock nature.

It’s even more difficult to wear if you think that it isn’t so widespread now, it was a Fall Winter 2016-17 trend, you saw it on catwalks, for example in Prada one. It doesn’t mean that you can’t wear it now because as it was an interesting trend two years ago, it can be a particular enrichment to your look this year. You saw it also in Fall Winter 2018-19 fashion shows. On the latest catwalks the corset changes face: it isn’t a set of strips, but it’s a proper corset, worn on t-shirts and shirts, of course!

Practical suggestions: how to wear a corset

1. To downplay, wear it on t-shirts or shirts, as fashion shows teach us.
2. Cover the top wearing a blazer or another kind of jacket.
3. The corset is particular, so go basic for colors, wearing neutral tones and only one colorful piece.
4. Wear a pair of shoes with heels, they can give a chic touch to the outfit and lighten it.
